My high school classmate Jomar's wedding.

He's 36 years old.

I had to excuse myself from my MA class in order to at least catch the reception in our hometown. I left Ateneo at 2:30 pm in order to catch the 3 pm bus to Cabanatuan. At 5:30 pm I was at the place of the reception.

Manila-Cabanatuan used to be a four hour trip.

For the Fair: seven pictures (one is a cropped version of another)

Reason: needed to check papers.

For the Variety Show: zero picture

Reason: needed to man the Pepsi booth from 4:30 PM to 12 AM

I'll just steal from others.

Tina's Birthday

A special Friday.

Ang Pinakamagandang Baboy sa Balat ng Lupa

During my very own "cultural week."

I watched three plays in three days: "Unang Baboy sa Langit" on a Tuesday, the 26th; "The Giver" on the following day; and lastly "Balangao," on the 28th.

The best of these, of course, is "Unang Baboy" and it is not just because my two friend-colleagues, Mikee and Pi-er-re play major roles in it!

The two other plays have their particular positive points but I would like to mention three persons who turned out endearing performances: Chris Yu and Francis Apostol for "The Giver", and Boom Enriquez for "Balangao."

Their abilities on the stage may be attributed to the fact that they are in some way connected to yours truly!

Instant Ninong

A beautiful name and it belongs to my newest inaanak. She is the daughter and youngest child of my colleague and now kumare, Maan.

For someone who does not relish the idea of having children of his own, I am happy being a ninong...

For the 10th time now...

as long as they do not ask for expensive Christmas and birthday gifts.
